Not to plan

Why am I not surprised that our new yard and paths have not gone quite to plan.The first grab couldn't fit up the drive and the second couldn't get a grip on the old flags so they left early to have a think about it.
A couple of deliveries out and we have a few orders in for the week ahead.We are now starting into batch eight.
Sprayed weed control at long last.The builders managed to hit one of our water pipes which are large bore and high pressure.They did look a bit wet.Luckily we had the parts on stock to fix it.
Batch one of the Spring Pansies and Violas started transplanting today and I managed to get the first coat of paint on in the back office this evening.

Looking for a week away in November.First thoughts were a little cottage somewhere in the UK.Talking to a friend who had just come back from Rome I thought perhaps somewhere abroad.However if I am having to go to all the hassel of flying it hardly seems worth it to end up in Europe when for a few hours more in the air I could be in America.The big drawback to this plan is the large additional cost so probably stay in the UK and save for a trip to the States.

The weather has been very warm and we have had some good sunny intervals today.
