Morning on the Mac
Having Cruised as far up the mac as was sensible to still give us good time for getting back to the marina, so we turned round and headed down again. Following our usual habit we looked for a nice quiet place in the countryside for our mooring.
On previous trips I have made a point of taking shots of Solace at each mooring. For reasons I don't know I haven't on this trip. Again we woke to a lovely morning and I decided to take some shots round the mooring before we cast off. This one was the one I chose.
During the rest of the day we made the passage of the Harecastle Tunnel again emerging into a torrential downpour. Due to this (which proved to be only a shower) we tied up early at the Westport Lake visitor moorings for a second time.
