MBChB with Honours

We moved onto cardiac medicine today, my fave field :) this weeks topic - hypertension. Did this to death over the last two years so I'm looking forward to a fairly relaxed week, just bits and pieces of anatomy to do

Tried my bestest today to get involved in the PBL discussion.. It was literally the hardest thing ever.. Especially when I'm not supposed to be leading the conversation or really contributing to the discussion on anticancer therapies.. Super difficult when one of your specialties is oncology medicine! But I managed :)

It's taken a while but I think I'm starting to realise I can do this and I am going to be a Doctor. I'm aiming for MBChB with Honours (given to the best academic students only). The pressure is on :)

Today would have also been my Grandma's 80th birthday - your love and support are very much missed every day and I know you would still give them 100% even though you would have hated the road my life has now taken. I wish you were here
