Could do better, but this is one of only two of my nineteen photos that survived the ruthless cull of duds. Sorry about the cables; my policy is not to remove them unless they totally ruin an otherwise perfect photo.

The forecast was good for this afternoon, so we decided to have a run out to do one of the walks in S's booklet. It was a nice drive through mostly lovely scenery, but sadly the sun was not quite as visible as the forecast had claimed. When we got to our destination the walk turned out to be through some very dull and uninspiring countryside. We got halfway to our destination (an unremarkable ruin) and were so bored with it that we turned round and walked back to the car. Detours to look at a couple of closed churches on the way back, at one of which I took this quick snap when the sun momentarily made a less half-hearted appearance. Then back home for tea and cake.
