From 1972

Ludwig II is an interesting character & I thought I'd try to find out a bit more about him.  I've got a biography ordered and I also ordered this film.

I'm sort of struggling to imagine Trevor Howard as Richard Wagner.  He always been Alec in Brief Encounter for me.  Or indeed Captain Bligh.

But we shall see.  The magic of films and all that.  It is, however, a munch on a hotdog under 4 hours long*.  And in German with German subtitles.  I may need to watch that in 2 parts. 

Healthwise, I think I'm getting better.  We'll see how long that lasts.  I might even get outside for a Blip.  Providing it's sunny and not windy.  So about May perhaps.

And a last thought, what's the point of Prime membership on Amazon?  It used to mean really fast delivery, now it seems to mean they'll post stuff to you.  Like what they used to.  And nothing ever arrives earlier than you thought.

*How long would a hotdog have to be for you to be eating it 4 hours later?  I know it's an odd question, but we'll put that down to my tablets.
