Bridges on the wall

I must have passed by hundreds of times over the last few years, but never noticed before that the three Berwick Bridges are depicted high up on the wall of the supermarket. The Royal Border Bridge is to the left and the Old Bridge to the right; the Royal Tweed Bridge is shown on the other side of the building. Note the seagull very helpfully posing on the roof!

Day 7 of the great upheaval. The old (hideous) electric fire and back boiler have been removed from the living room and, in the bathroom, the plasterer has been doing some preparation work. We still have a working loo - but no bathroom door!
