Ring of funghi ...

My eye was caught by this rich picture of life springing from a sadly defunct tree. I was meandering through the parkland around Clitheroe Castle ... on my way back to the car after a good meeting up at the museum. Didn't have time to head back to Byrnes ... but as I've been doing a Stoptober thingy we still have yummy Vernacchia waiting for 1 November!
