Drops On Maple. Leica/Lumix Macro-Elmarit 45mm

I had time to go out and experiment with the "new" Macro-Elmarit today and get a feel for the beast and what it likes: much easier to focus manually in macro.  It's "focus-by-wire" I think they call it, so it takes a lot of movement to achieve a small change in focus.  That's good.  The auto-focus starts to hunt at every tiny movement.  Not good when hand holding the camera.  Depth Of Field is still a problem. Not a surprise; this is macro.  The ensemble of camera plus lens feels wonderful to hand hold.  I think I might be in love...
