Thursday: The Esplanade

I've taken this view before, but in the daytime so hopefully I can be forgiven for repeating it.

It was a good productive day today - no external meetings which meant I could shift quite a lot of stuff.  I did end the day with Austrian National Day reception at the Esplanade hotel.   The dessert table had to be seen to be believed - it stretched to infinity and beyond.  Everyone was walking round, mumbling; 'Have you seen the dessert table?' while clutching very large pieces of Sachertorte.  I resisted as I had dinner waiting for me at home.
