Martha
Today's the day ........................ to fundraise
Our choir put on a concert tonight.
It wasn't on the scale of the one on Tuesday, of course - but it did involve lots of people taking it in turn to entertain (we hope!) an audience who had paid good money to come. The difference was that we threw in a spot of supper as well.
The idea was to raise, if we could, around £500 which would help to pay for the soloists and a small orchestra for our Christmas concert in December. It was a sell-out success too - so hopefully, we will have reached the target.
This is 7-year old Martha, daughter of our conductor - who sang her own version of Queen's 'Don't stop me now . And through the wonders of modern technology - and the expertise of her big brother Richard - you can actually hear her right now .........................
