Marjorie's ramblings

In my village

I started the day at our GP surgery for my annual check up for various bits and pieces, mainly asthma (so mild it's hardly worth mentioning) and hypothyroidism (well controlled on thyroxine). Our lovely nurse, Christine, looked a bit alarmed when she saw me - quite a weight loss!  BMI is now 24 so that's great and time to eat a bit more I think.

I had my 'flu jab too and came home to pick up Mum to go for hers.

Then to the vet with both cats. Carla has been very droopy again this week, so she had a shot of steroids. Bowlby just went to be introduced to the new vet and to receive the OK for future prescriptions of painkillers.

Then I fettled a few pounds of apples and watched the end of The South Bank Show about Hamlet.

A restful evening beckons.

I took my blip in the quite early morning of our village. The central tree is in a small field beside the doctors' surgery.
