Herons arrival

Blip mate and I went to the estuary for our usual Saturday morning blip hunt and met two other blippers also taking advantage of the sunny morning and half tide.

While photographing a heron fishing, another bird flew in and I caught it just as it touched down in the water ahead of me. 

There was a lot to see and photograph today, but this was my favourite.
