Museum

I think this has to be my favourite Museum building, although the National Portrait Gallery comes a close second.  The main hall is just full of opportunities.  I could just click and click and click, in black and white or colour, but enough about my hips.

I made a quick, early visit today.  It was joyful to see all the Dads there with their little darlings.  'Where's the car?' 'I need a drink', 'Can I push the button again?'  'Stop running around!', 'Come on!!!!!!'  'Look!'  It made me smile.

The morning should have been a quick High Street let, but it started last night after hours with a request for something to be in the flat, and then continued at 8.20am with phone calls about this and that. The new owner isn't quite up to speed yet and whilst I love to be of help, I am getting slightly frayed by how much of my free time she is taking up.

So a walk around the Museum brought calm again, my smile brought lightness and the fraught faces of others reminded me how precious every minute with little people should be.  It was energising and has spurred me on to complete many tasks which have needed attention.

I may even have enough time to sew on some more sequins to the hem of my nightdress this evening.  Relax and enjoy, beers in to chill, bring it on.
