Birks burn...

bright still, despite the gales of yesterday. It was like walking through sunlight, because the colours were so bright even though it was raining. Overnight it must have been heavy as the burns were moving, first time for weeks.
Then , when the rain stopped, the clouds began to lift and in the afternoon the summits showed the first significant fall at 3000'.See extra.
Looked lovely and still warm in the strath!
