Gator Nationals

Today my husband got to fulfil a lifelong dream - to race his BMX in the states. 3rd in his first moto, won the second so transferred straight into the final, where he was just pipped into 5th position. Good job he didn't come first as there was no way that trophy (which was taller than Dylan) would have fit in a suitcase  ;-)

Couldn't believe how quickly they got through those races and how well it all seemed to flow. was over by 2pm! i guess people have a lot further to travel home for work on Mondays though!

We were back 'home' by 5 so decided to head downtown for a mooch about. Found some really good live music and kids had a bit of a dance in the streets to the sounds of a sax. on the way back we discovered the T-Rex centre. what a bizarre place. Disney doesn't do anything by half!
