Steaming Day

Well what a day. Up at 3am and away out to watch the rugby  with a friend. How tense it was, the All Blacks only winning by two points. Now in the final for next weekend but tomorrow morning at 5am Australia play Argentina to see who plays the All Blacks so of course getting out of bed to watch that.
This weekend our local Railway and Historical Society run the trains and craft stalls down at the station. The big AB699 Steam engine is still not back in action after its big overhaul so it was the little engine plus the Model T Railcar plying the track today. Such a wonderful band of volunteers give so much time all the year round. A great attraction for our town. Even volunteer gardens who keep the station end looking beautiful, hence the lovely flowering cherry showing its self off against the train.
If it is a better day tomorrow will go down and take some more. Today has been a very grey sky day
