Varosha

If you have read the novel "Sunrise" you, like myself, will be interested in seeing Varosha, still cordoned off after the 1974 invasion and held by the United Nations.
A very interesting day visiting the Roman ruins at Salamis, St Barnabas Monastery and the Icon Museum, the walled city of Farmagusta (Gazimagusa) and peeping at the perplexing Varosha.
