Anniversary

It's my friends' Sally and Dave's 15th wedding anniversary today.  They got married in Aberdeenshire, Scotland and it was a really beautiful day.

I met them both when I worked at Tower Records, and there is a bit of a saga to them getting together.  Without going in to too much detail, they got together in those heady days of the 80s, but then went their separate ways.

Sally moved to the US in the late-i80s/early 90s and ended up in New York.  In around 1997, Dave got in touch again - and the rest is history.  They now have a 13 year old son, Harry and live in Washington DC where Sally works at The White House - not bad for a girl from the Midlands!  At the wedding, I got a special mention as someone who had been around for almost their whole love story - and we're still friends today!
