Jake's Walk

Grandson Jake and I had a lovely walk up this path back in March. Then the trees were quite bare, but now they are showing their Autumn tints, and in another month they will be bare again. This path could have at one time been much more significant than it is now, judging by the old planting of the beech trees alongside.
First day of half term today and it is dry and bright. Good for all the families who want to get out and about. We usually see our family at this time but they are very busy this year and our diaries are pretty full as well. Son J is on a business trip to Brussels
