Labour day

We went to the labour day picnic that was at the botanic gardens today.

They had bouncy castle, sausage sizzle and face painting for kids. Harper was hesitant to bounce on the castle as he'd taken a tumble off our bed when jumping on it at home this morning, he hit his back on a chair. He's ok now, just a bit of a bruise.

Kanye and Mar both got tiger faces while i chased around after Harper who though the big duck pond looked rather inviting. He desperately wanted to get in, forget feeding the ducks he wanted to be one!

We took a walk to the gardens after the boys ate, they were tired from yesterday so we headed back to the car. We bought them an ice cream on the way home which was not the best idea in the car, they started out doing well and ended with the seats and them covered in ice cream. 

Luckily being a warm day i got things cleaned and dried in no time. Having a third weekend day - though it throws me , is really nice to have!
