Today's the day ........................ to look at the rocks

This wheel of rock was constructed in 2009 using rocks collected from mountain tops, river valleys, quarries and the rolling hillsides of Dumfries and Galloway.  

It is used as an outdoor classroom by the local primary school, and as a place to celebrate the geodiversity of this beautiful region of Scotland......................
