Shine a light...

The dark nights are exposing the failings in my security lights!  No problem I'll just put a new lamp up.  Sounds easy but then you find that the brackets are different sizes to the old one so new holes have to be drilled.  Then the new ones are supplied with about 6" of connection power cable, I need 9", so strip it down and replace the useless cable.  All fixed and waterproofed, stand back, turn it on and….

NOTHING!


Our friends in China have not connected one of the internal wires, it's just wagging about.  (Not the one I replaced!!!)    Now I wonder where it goes?  Hope they build our new power station with a bit more care!!!
