The Red Lion

I spent all day waiting in for a delivery - which turned up just before 6 p.m! So frustrating - and the dogs were bouncing off the walls waiting for their walk by his time.

I did spend the time productively - trying to sort out Mrs madwills' laptop which has been poorly for a while. I found the problem in a windows update which kept trying to install, failing and repeating. I finished up having to download the service pack and install it manually. This took 6 hours to run! I also upgraded the RAM - so it now has 8GB in stead of 4GB.

It is much better - though still in intensive care - there still seems to be a rogue process hogging the cpu. A job for tomorrow!

It was completely dark when we got out for our walk - so some night shots were in order.

The main shot is the Red Lion pub in the village, looking over the beck.

The extra shot is of light trails of the A1 looking north - a nice sweep of the road to the left and then to right. The bright light in centre frame is a floodlight at the sports centre in Boston Spa.
