Decisions

Not been to the house tonight but have been tying to make decisions about a few things. Stu and I are terrible at deciding even little things so the next few months should be fun. We need to replace the external decorative lintel and need to make our minds up how we are going to go about it (pay someone or try and source bits and Stu and Dad atempt to fit it!). I would rather pay someone, but it's knowing who to contact that seems to be the problem.
We have also had a few discussions about windows as pre planning applications have said we have to have wooden sash windows when we really wanted to go for UPVC. I did want wooden originally but after seeing the most beautiful UPVC ones, learning the difference in cost and the difference in efficiency I was convinced UPVC was the way forward. We are going to question this but if they don't back down Stu won't be happy.
