Messy.

After tidying up yesterday I spent this morning making a right mess.  The brick work on the internal walls is so bad we decided it might be worth roughly skimming over them with a layer of mortar mixed with PVA.  I attempted to do this but the walls are so uneven most of it ended up on the floor.  It gave me an insight as to how difficult plastering must be!  
While I was messing about doing this Stu spent his time much more usefully by re laying the bricks above the new concrete lintels.  This was made more difficult by the fact non of the bricks are the same size and that nothing in this house is straight.
I didn't really know what else to do today so I quickly mowed the lawn and swept up all the leaves in the garden.  I probably wouldn't have bothered as the grass is going to be ruined when the proper building work starts, but my mom convinced me.  She said old grass is much better than new grass and so I should look after it!?!
