Bedraggled

You would be forgiven for thinking this was a bird bath or pond but no...it is actually our flat roof/balcony. I say flat but it has had this dodgy dip almost since it was put on and the water just collects as soon as it rains. However, the numerous tiny sparrows who have bred in the bird boxes here seemed to like it this morning and were splashing around to their hearts content.

This saved my blip bacon as I've had an old friend round to lunch; old in that I've known her 25 years and she still looks as gorgeous as when we used to stand in the school playground together picking up our kids. Great to catch up  :)
