We went to Stowe House near Milton Keynes today for a Blipmeet present were,

And we did have fun in the rain!
The house was owned by the incredibly rich Temple-Grenville family in the 18th century, who must have thought that their beautiful and considerable chunk of English countryside would be enhanced by the addition of lots of follies and temples in the grounds.
These stony faced characters were in the Temple of British Worthies accompanied by a pumpkin, for added interest for all the children visiting on half term holiday.
