Tony an Akshay

A windy day with a sunny morning.  It clouded over at lunchtime and then the rain started in the afternoon.  It was lashing down after work with the gales blowing, an hour later I nipped outside and an eerie feel was in the air, no wind, not a breath and the rain had stopped with the stars in the sky :) 

I've been working on the museum desk today and it's been a steady day.  The morning started quiet, schools being back and less tourists about but it soon picked up and a busy afternoon when the rain started. 
A few hours to myself and Sammy before I head to work in the pub tonight. I swapped my Tuesday night for tonight.

My friend Akshay Borges popped in the museum today and with a chef celebrity, Tony Singh.  Tony is up for the Shetland Food Fair this week.  Akshay has had the opportunity to work along side Tony at work in the Scalloway Hotel and what I hear, it's been a huge success, well done Akshay :)  Tony on the left and Akshay on the right, taken by the croft house in the Shetland Museum.
