Me And My (2 day old) Pentax

Feels weird using a camera with Live View especially when using my old Pentax lenses and in this case a Lensbaby. Although it is very handy, I somehow feel less professional when pressing the shutter release. Had a bit of fun filming a video of Tuttle Jnr's budgie using the Lensbaby......
...pretty damn hard. Deleted it in the end. But will try again asap.
Massively impressed with the ISO capabilities again (see yesterday's blip). And I still can't get my head around how cool the in-camera editing is, which is something that was lacking in the Canon 600D my dad lent me (while I've been looking for a new DSLR). Still a great camera and very grateful, but I just like Pentax. Still much to do with the custom settings (love the fact that Manual mode is seperate from Bulb mode and I can even have two user settings, which will come in handy for my Infrared work. There is so much to say about the K-50, I'll have to stop as the geeky-ness inside of me wants to shout out!

Anyhow, in the normal world, I popped into work while Tuttle Jnr had his mate round for the day. Mrs Tuttle did a bit of eBay here and a bit of eBay there. Added the finishing touches to the party decorations for Saturday (and it ain't a Halloween theme).
