Perfect Perch

It is not often something happens that makes you cry but yesterday turned into one of those days. I felt so unwell and so very low.

Mimi had an appointment with the Audiologist and was given new cross-aids to try, apparently they are quite new and very small.  It was like a eureka moment for her, her eyes lit up as she heard things that she had not heard...ever.  I cannot imagine how her world must be or how it must have been before yesterdays appointment but she was so happy and hyper when she came home it was teats of joy but also heartbreak that she has not heard things that we in the hearing community take for granted.

She seems to find the difference amazing and I am so so happy for her
