Golden

Another botanical garden: the Royal Botanical Gardens in Edinburgh. The morning rain had vanished, the sun shone, our granddaughters were having a ball as they explored hidden paths, scuffed through fallen leaves, and were reduced to wild screams by the boldness of the grey squirrels who came looking for food. (And they did look ratty, close up ...)

And everywhere gold, more gold than red, in the trees and on the ground. A perfect afternoon.
