We plough the fields and.....

....scatter, the good seed on the land.
I have been humming that all day after seeing the ploughman at work this morning. Came across him on my walk round the block and went home to get the camera.
Not a common sight these days in this area but now that maize is becoming a good easy cash crop there may be more scenes like this.
I got a wave from the driver as he turned at the end of the rows. I had this vision of a cloud of seagulls trailing along behind but they just sat on the ground and at the far end of course.
Technology had moved on too. This ploughs 4 furrows at a time and he flips it over at the end of each row and goes back along the same line.
Anyway it made my day.

I have changed the photo. The first one looked too blurry when I went back to it.
