Angels

This arrived today from the very talented Kaye at Frip It Up and now takes pride of place by my rose bush which seems to flower all year round.

I wanted this as a reminder of all those sadly no longer with us, especially at this time of year. The timing was seemingly spot on as have just heard the sad news that a friend of mine passed away this morning at the age of 49. She'd been fighting bravely for a while and lost her battle with the big C this morning. My thoughts go out to her friends and family, especially her twins who have supported her through the last few years.

A stark reminder that our time is precious and life should never be taken for granted.

RIP Julie, fly high with the angels my friend.
