A dreich day ...

... when most of the colour has been leached out of the air.
This little beauty however was bobbing about in the aptly names Stinky Bay.
Never easy to photograph - they dive up and down all the time in search of those tasty crabs - but eventually this one sat still enough for a photo.
Breeding in the Artic Circle this one must have felt at home here today.
