It was a long way away....

.. but Peregrines always impress. As much as anything though I thought it worth posting something from the Hebrides in October with not a cloud in a very blue sky.
Last night enjoyed a book launch in Balivanich. The author was Norman Maclean who has had a fascinating, varied and difficult career but still, at over eighty, managed to hold an audience in his hand. All very unliterary and all the better for it!
Today the first Christmas Fair of the season - here's hoping it isn't too long a season.
