"Old" Nuremberg

Had a wander around the old city this afternoon.  Although it looks old, it is all an illusion.  The city was virtually destroyed during WW2 and was rebuilt exactly as it was, following the old original medieval street plans and using as much original stone as possible.  So although everything looks and feels ancient, really nothing is more than 70 years old.  Looks lovely though, especially with these autumn colours.
