Licence to Thrill

Sorry, I know that hackneyed phrase has been used by others, but hey.

As you may have guessed we went to the latest 007 offering, Spectre, at the local Picture House today. It was one of the four Silver Screen viewings this afternon, they obviously know where the ageing James Bond audience lies and the cinema was fairly full following the complimentary tea and biscuits.

The picture, taken inside the foyer, shows to show poster plus an old cinefilm project, suitably decked out in Halloween cobwebs, that they have on permanent display.

The film was very good, so long as you suspend belief and just enjoy the stunts and excellent filming. Real escapism fodder for a grey, cold Friday afternoon.
