Grand with grand grandson ......

We had a super day, KJD dropped son number 2 off at 11.20am , later than we expected to be, but as it was raining and plans had to be changed it really didn't matter. First we thought lunch would be the thing to do, so we proceeded to our destination, The Gardeners Arms , between Crawley Downs and Lindfield . The meal was ace and " O " was suitable impressed ( sigh of relief from grandma) . We then went to the National Trust / Kew property, I gib a bit about paying for the car park, but that's the arrangement that Kew has made with the N. T. However we had a stoll around the lake, tho' it was rather dull , it was 3.30 pm, it was pleasantly warm. The trees were beautiful , the changing colours were just wonderful, even the lake had interesting wild life , the ducks, male and female mallards, were entertaining. You just need to watch at things going on around you to see it's beauty. Then KJD phoned and said she couldn't get any pumpkins, I wander why, if you must leave things to the 12th hour? Say no more, I'm sure faffing made more sence during the past week!!!! So it was a pumpkin hunt we went on, I didn't mind I needed to pop into the store anyway! Sorry the pumpkins were small, but no more left! Thank you so much " O " for a lovely day, I'm so blessed that a 20 year old grandson wants to spend the day with his grandma, good on you kiddo' love you all.
