Royal Visit

The Queen heard about how fantastic this class were and how hard they had worked all year - and she had heard all about the special achievements they had all made, that she decided to visit to present them with Royal Olympic Awards...and give them jubilee buns and royal juice (blue or red!)

Well, I can't find the words to describe that moment of disbelief when she walked into the unsuspecting classroom. There was absolute silence and then one child silently stood up, followed by the rest. The Queen waved and the whole class bowed and curtsied!! I had to swallow hard and was stuck for words momentarily too!

What a very memorable day they all had, although the Queen only stayed for 10 minutes!

So, that's it - the end of term. The kids all had a super day and a great send off for the P7's. Many tears and lots of hugs all round.

Had a hairdo after school and get my nails done on Thursday - woo hoo! 9 days to go! Alarm clock off for the summer!

Still got lots to finish but can do so in my own time now!
