Simple Pleasures

I love these peonies, hosta leaves and lady's mantle - a simple summer bouquet but very beautiful! A pupil gave me these yesterday. How kind!

Got a good deal of loose ends tied up today, got a few more tomorrow and hope to get finished by Friday. In amongst that I have been grass cutting, tidying piles of paper up, ironing, letter writing, talking on the blower lots and had coffee with a pal. So relaxed and lots done!

Am sewing up my jumper tonight and starting a lace scarf. Got the pattern sorted in my head last night only to find that the pattern and the chart are entirely different - annoying! Anyway, ready to go now...

Dreadful weather day - rain, mizzle, cloud and rain, but stuffily warm. Scottish summer!
