Special days

Last day of the holidays today so I had planned a special mummy and daughter day.

We dropped A off at nursery so he could enjoy his Halloween party and then we went out for breakfast. P ate loads, but I did help her with her second sausage! We did a bit of shopping for some November birthday presents and P chose herself some new winter clothes.

We then went to library to enjoy a Room On The Broom story time session. We listened to the story and did some crafts. P really enjoyed it and was very happy with the wand she had made.

In the afternoon we got busy making some gingerbread skeletons. P helped really well and was very good when rolling out the dough and cutting out the little men.

This evening I asked her what her favourite part of the day had been and she replied "being with you all day mummy".
