Red Legged Partridge

Following my rather ropey shot of a Treecreeper and Clickychick's much better shot of a couple of Red Legs we were both on the look out for the Partridge again today.  As usual it was CC who saw them first.

I obeyed the command to get my camera and before I went to lie down in the hall to shoot through the cat door I took a couple of quick shots through the window.  Just as well as by the time I had the cat door open (no I didn't push the flap outwards) they had decided to "leg it".  I think that must be why they are called Red Legs as all you see is the twinkle of the red as they dash away!

So there you have it one Red Legged Partridge through glass.
