Conference

This is a real emergency blip.  I seem not to have pressed the camera icon on my phone hard enough.

Today it was through to the West.  An early start to be in the Merchant City by just after 9.  It was the annual ACOSVO Conference.  The morning was good.  We got off to a great start with John Loughton who was truly inspirational.  the next speaker from Police Scotland was complementary.  Unfortunately after lunch it went downhill.  My impressions of Social Bite remain unchanged. 

Then via Poundland, Tesco and a number 6 bus to Y's.  We had a lovely evening with low carb curry and high carb alcohol.

The journey home was entertaining, to say the least.  Work on the line meant I made the decision to take the earlier low level train which led to watching fights, police, colourful characters, and a midnight arrival at the Waverley, missing the last bus and a taxi home. My original plan to stay over would have been much better, and cheaper!
