the foggy mile

when i stepped out of the house this morning, everything seemed a little blurry. if that makes sense to anyone else but me. it wasnt foggy, but everything seemed a little ... overcast, like there was something keeping everything from being in focus.

the second i turned off my road, i drove straight into a big patch of fog. i drove through this fog, probably a little faster than i should have for safety's sake, but i made it out alive.

the funny thing was, it was only foggy for about two miles on this one stretch of road. it went over the highway, and apparently that part of the highway was the only part that was foggy too. as soon as i drove out of the area that the dense white fog covered, it was immediately bright & sunny & warm.

it set the mood for an odd day.

but all in all, it wasn't too bad.
