The Giant's Causeway

This morning I woke up at 4.30am to get a 7am flight to Belfast to see Jane.

We drove straight up to Portballintrae, where we had pancakes with bacon and maple syrup for breakfast before going to the oldest distillery in the world to have a tour. We got lots of free whisky at the end, but as Jane can't drink I had to consume it all! Lunch was a huge burger followed by a trip to a castle and then to the giant's causeway. It was slightly rainy, but we had a really good time and I loved being a tourist!

Dinner at the Ice House in Portstewart, where we were both so full we had to just have starters...and still not finish them. Drinks in the Bayview hotel and then back to bed to catch up on some sleep!
