The Birds

I planned a typical Halloween blip today, but changed my mind.  We took the boys for a walk over the fields this morning and then this afternoon Alan and I went into town.

We parked at the marina, walked along the beach, went to The Lanes and then we went to the pier to watch the sunset and the murmuration of starlings.  I've blipped the murmuration before, and decided on this shot tonight as the birds are so close and silhouetted by the sun.

According to my Apple watch, we've walked about 7 miles in total today and 15,000 steps, so we're having a relaxing night tonight, but it's been a lovely day.
