Spooky Castle

This is Balfour Castle on Shapinsay. I went over to try and see a great grey shrike which had been reported there, ans was lucky enough to find it. I got some shots but nothing very good so I've gone for a halloween shot instead and just put a shot of the shrike as an extra. Lots of other birds about including 150+ whooper swans, 3 shelduck, fieldfares redwings and blackbirds, a male sparrowhawk, a female peregrine and hundreds of ducks...mallards, teal, wigeon and shoveler. The highlight was the shrike though. I have seen a few south but none on Orkney.
