The Tuis are back...

I am delighted that once again the tuis are back in my garden. They have been absent - I suspect they were nesting. Hopefully it wont be long before they bring chicks to the feeder.

I love to watch the chicks learning to sip  the sugar water. At first they try to lick it off the tray and the sides of the jar before finally realising that the good stuff is on the inside. What they dont realise is that the good days of being fed are over and they continue opening their beaks hopefully every time Mum and Dad Tui appear. They are very playful and treat the tree as their playground which is very entertaining.

A great record breaking result for the All Blacks today. They were the best team and New Zealand is in celebration mode. But we must remember - it was no small achievement for Australia to reach the final and gain the silver medal. The two best teams met and played great rugby.
