Great Balls of Fire

A beautiful, sunny, Autumn day - and into November!

A busy day at church this morning with Eleanor leading the service and me preaching - the opposite from last Sunday.

On the way home I noticed these trees which seemed to be like balls of fire in the very bright sunlight. After coming back to take a photo we went down to the seafront for a walk/scooter from Broughty Ferry to Monifieth and back - with a stop for a cup of tea at the Van Diner.

The first of the extra photos (if you can see them) is of the beach at Monifieth looking eastwards, brilliantly lit by the sun. At the end of our trip the sun was just dropping behind the two Tay Bridges - which made for an excellent second extra photo. (It is a shame that Blip Central never made provision for these to be seen on phones and Tablets)

All in all it has been a fabulous Autumn day here in Bonnie Dundee.
