Queen's View after the snow

Cold, snowy day.

We have been staying at the Atholl Centre in Pitlochry for the past week. Last night, the edge of the storm, 'Abigail' passed by leaving snow on the hills and leaves covering the parked cars.

We went for  drive to one of the most beautiful spots in Scotland, the Queen's View of Loch Tummel. Fortunately the sun made an appearance, which helped illuminate the snow capped mountain, Schiehallion, one of Scotland's Munros at 1083. The extra photo is of some of the nearby snow covered ridges.

Hopefully the weather will still be clear when we make our way home tomorrow,
